Book 2 The Case For Principles
Why Movements Need Structure
Every movement that tries to do something meaningful eventually hits a moment where passion isn't enough. Passion can start a fire.
Passion can gather a crowd. Passion can get everyone talking. But passion without structure has the lifespan of a sparkler on the Fourth of July. It burns bright, it looks great in a picture, and then it fizzles out long before the real fun begins.
The idea behind this book is simple. If we’re going to build a movement, we need a foundation strong enough to carry it. The first book gave us the big picture. This one gives us the direction.
